We looked primarily at the tax implications of his speech and also offered some advice as to what action may usefully be taken as a consequence of his announcement."

  • VAT reduced to 15% from 1 December 2008 until 31 December 2008
  • Temporary changes to personal allowances announced for 2007/08 to be made permanent.
